Consistently tasty, this place is affordable and wonderful. I was heartbroken when it was closed for part of the lock down. I am so glad that is open now and I am glad to eat there as often as budget will allow.

I have been a patron for many years but in the last year or so, the lunch buffet food is not hot-ate there today and food luke warm and cold-waitress checked buffet by touching the top and said it was hot-the top is not the problem-not sure how much water in steam table but most oriental restaurants have steam coming out-

Great food. Among the best Chinese in the Cincinnati area. Try the crispy walleye human style. It's very good.

Best Chinese around just wish they delivered

Just got take out..BURNT pan fried noodles, inedible, actually gross. Too late to do anything drove 20 minutes to pick it up... Just yuk☹️

Buffet is always great and service is on point.

A very nice dining experience. White tablecloths. The buffet was delicious and my friend and I lingered to talk .we were not rushed.Will return, but I live a half hour away. Must be a destination place.

This is absolutely one of the best Chinese restaurant in the Cincinnati area. The quality of the food is better than what you find in regular Chinese restaurants. Their christmas buffet is also great (service is slow and sometimes you may have to wait for them to refill dishes)! The staff is friendly.

Lunch buffet isn't what it used to be. Half the food pans were left nearly enpty. No pork dish, tiny poocorn shrimp in one dish. Only one steam table. I think it was $9.25.

Amazing food, and amazing service ALWAYS!! The good is fresh and delicious!! They are vegetarian frendly, and have a wide selection of food. Always have friendly, attending servers. They give you a good amount of sauce, and fortune cookies. Always great in every department!!!!! My go to Chinese place. I love it here.

Very disappointing! Our server was not friendly, at all. We asked about MSG, but she was not very interested in assuring us there would be none in the food. I didn’t eat mine, it wasn’t good, but my main concern was the MSG...not worth the risk of a migraine. Actually, if I had known they use it, I would never have gone there. Miserable experience.

Quiet, not very busy. Good food. If you want spicy aim high on the 1-10 scale. Great spot if you want to hear the dinner conversation.

I like to go with friends to this place with my highest recommendations. I go to this restaurant often. I get very good feedback from my friends. The the cooking is appetizing and the stuff is generous and cooperative. Every time we go to this place we enjoy a gorgeous time. warmly recommended.

Good good, large portions, a bit expensive

First time here in middle of a Saturday. Looks nice. Clean. Sweet and sour chicken was good. Chicken fried rice had a good flavor...but the meat was bland, had a weird consistency and did not look like chicken. I’d share a photo but not sure how to attach.

Went there for lunch. Had the buffet. The quality of the meat was very good. Chicken skewers were fantastic. For $10 you cannot go wrong. I’m going to go with the whole office!

Stopped in for lunch and checked out the buffet. Should be well stocked during this time. 3 buffet choices completely empty and other options you have to scrape the pan to get anything. Pretty pathetic. Left.

Ordered take out and after checking it while there, realized they didn’t have a large piece of our order. Then..... got home and realized they didn’t give us any sauces that go with the meals and none of our rice. Their attempt to reconcile was a free egg roll 😂. We won’t use them again

We frequented Johnny Chan 2 for over 2 decades for dinner almost every 2 weeks on average. We love their menu as also their buffet on rare occasions. After trying almost all their menu items, we settled on these favorites. Sweet Corn Chicken soup, chicken wings (IMHO - Cincinnati's best) with their Chinese mustard sauce, chili oil, sweet sauce, Lettuce wrapped chicken appetizer, spring rolls, pan fried noodles with white sauce and whole seasonal fish with hunan sauce. I would highly recommend this place for a quiet and exceptional dinner with excellent and attentive service. We spend a significant amount on eating out in fancy and other places. Johnny Chan 2 provides a great fancy restaurant experience at a reasonable price. Love it!

My mom and I go here occasionally for dinner as it's pretty close to where we live in Blue Ash. The decor of the restaurant is nice and inviting. Comfortable. The sevice is wonderful the chef does his dishes very quickly but wonderfully prepared. I am mainly into the spicier dishes and I have to say I Absolutely love the spicy sauteed beef.. I've always know it as Scechwan shredded beef..but they do a really impressive version of this dish.. it's really delicious.. I'm a huge fan of Orange beef their chefs is very good.. I have to admit I actually prefer it with the dry fried orange peels.. but that's me.. The dishes are well priced and the portions allow you to leave full.. Thank you for some great meals and I'm sure we ll be back alot.

Ordered carryout for the first time since our usual places were closed (my wife and kids like China Moon in Blue Ash, I prefer Sichuan Chili in Glendale). I didn't get anything because I'll only eat from Sichuan Chile, but my wife and kids ordered Cashew Chicken and Chicken Fried Rice. The chicken in both dishes contained many gristle pieces. Not only did they not finish what was on their plates, but we threw out what was remaining, which was more than half! The flavor wasn't good either. My wife said she'd rather get the Chinese food from Kenwood mall.
